Patna witnessed a major protest on Sunday as candidates traveling to appear for the Bihar Police Prohibition Department recruitment examination staged a demonstration at Patliputra Junction over delayed train services.

A large number of aspirants gathered at the railway station and expressed their frustration after trains failed to arrive on time, raising concerns about reaching their examination centers as scheduled. The delay led to growing anger among the candidates, who began protesting and demanding immediate action from railway authorities.

As the situation intensified, some protesters reportedly moved onto the railway tracks, disrupting train operations and causing further inconvenience to passengers. Railway Protection Force personnel and local police were deployed to control the crowd and restore order at the station.

Officials later appealed to the candidates to remain calm and assured them that efforts were being made to facilitate their travel. Additional security was deployed, and the situation was eventually brought under control.

The incident highlighted the challenges faced by thousands of examination candidates who depend on railway services to reach their destinations on time for important competitive exams.
